"The truth is, Tim Smith’s remarkable book “Donors Are People Too” has become a virtual bible for the nonprofit world. It doesn’t matter if you’re with a major, national organization with serious funding, or just startng to tackle a good cause but don’t have a penny in your pocket. The surprising principles Tim reveals simply work. With Tim’s book, you’ll stop “asking” for money and start “inspiring” people to make a dream happen. The course is designed as a self-study course to consume your own pace.

You’ll never look at your donors or your work in the same way.
This course will change how you approach donors, how you engage with them and how you make an ask.
Hi I'm Tim and I've been exactly where you are and I understand the complexities of your role.
My courses are different because I have worked alongside some of the largest organizations and some of the smallest organizations and I understand your needs.
I'll share my best moments, my worst mistakes, my strategies for growing your donor base and hands-on ways to build a development culture across your organization’s staff.
No matter what kind or size your organization, my course will help you see your work in a fresh, new way and equip you with the right tools for growing your program.

This first course will accelerate your growth and you can take action NOW.
We find that so many fundraisers and managers feel they’re too overwhelmed to spare the time to take a course or get additional training.
You will get back the time you put into this many times over with the tips, tools and training insights for both you and your staff.
We shortcut the time you’d otherwise spend having to cobble together resources and other courses.
There’s never enough time or money in a small nonprofit development office.
We’ve all been there.
Commit to stopping the endless cycle of rushing through projects and “good enough” strategies.
It won’t change until you invest time in the right resources to boost your program.
Tim’s course will give you tangible tools you can implement in your office right away.
It’s a practical, affordable investment in your future and your organization’s mission.
Sure, you can …and I hope you do!
But it won’t give you the content of the course.
The course packages years of my experience in working with donors, actual stories of what works and what doesn’t, along with lots of data, systems and tools that you’ll be able to harness for your own development shop.
